Hives
Cheyenne woke up with this rash last week and I thought it was bed bugs or something. Then the girl at the gym told me it looked like a rash, I was worried, so I took her to the Doctor and he checked her for strep and some other things, but she didn't have that. Then he said it looked like Hives and she was probably just allergic to something. The rash went away and now she is fine. I had no idea what it was, but then my dad said that my Grandma got really bad hives once from eating moldy cheese. We had a bag of shredded cheese that was kind of old that I made her a quesadilla out of. I did check it for mold and it looked fine and smelled fine, but it was white, so maybe mold would have been hard to see. That is the only thing I can possibly imagine it could have been.
Pump it Up
This was actually before our trip to Destin, but my friend Lindsey and I took our girls to pump-it-up (inflatable toys) to play. Lindsey has a daughter, Brielle, who is about 6 or so months younger than Cheyenne and another daughter, Savannah, who is about 6 or so months younger than Berkeley. Cheyenne and Brielle had a lot of fun and we finished up with a pizza buffet at Cici's. Cheyenne totally surprised me by being fearless, climbing up this tall wall without even needing me there with her and going down the big slides. Something must have happened though, because we took her back there again with Grandma and Grandpa and she wouldn't go down any of the slides or up any of the walls. Any tips on helping kids be a little more adventuresome and a little less cautious?

Toomer's Corner
These are the trees an Alabama fan poisoned:
They had little diamonds in the ground like the hollywood stars... here is Bo Jackson's:
Toomer's Corner, delicious lemonade (and shakes too). Jeff, Cheyenne and I shared a shake and it was so funny, because Cheyenne did not want to share! She would drink and drink and I would say my turn and for like 2 seconds I would drink and then she would say, "my turn!" So we would let her have it for about 2 minutes and then it would be daddy's turn and she would flip out if he had it longer than 5 seconds. It was pretty hilarious, because she is usually pretty good about sharing, but that milkshake was obviously delicious!
When we weren't looking, Cheyenne had lined up all the tigers in a row on the ground, it was so cute, so we had to take a picture:
When we went to see Auburn on the way to Florida, we noticed Toomer's Corner on the way out and we really wanted to go, so we thought we would stop there on the way home.

Ocean Day 2- Burnt to a crisp
So apparently no one put on enough sunscreen our first day at the jetty, because everyone had some place on them that was FRIED! Mine was my face, Jeff, his entire upper body, Connie's chest, and Berkeley had a little bit of redness and swelling around her eyes and Cheyenne's face looked like a zebra, because I used the stick and missed a few stripes. The only one not burned was Grandpa Frank, so he got Cheyenne duty in the sun on the 2nd day at the beach. The next day we slept in and recovered a bit. My brother Aaron and his wife Andrea were so so nice and generous to let us stay at their house while they were in Washington on vacation. So, we slept in and watched tv, played some home run derby, and ate lunch. After the girls nap, we set off for day two at Beasley's Beach or something like that at Fort Walton Beach.
Jeff and I were so excited for Frank and Connie to see the true beauty of the Gulf at a different beach, but we were super disappointed when the water was totally gross, because it was full of seaweed! We called around to other beaches and it was everywhere. I guess it only happens a few times a year, but the seaweed comes to the shore and it stays for a few days. This was a total bummer, because usually the water is crystal clear and so blue and beautiful. Most of us stayed in the shade this time nursing our burns anyway.
