First Big Haircut for Cheyenne

Okay, so Cheyenne actually got her first haircut already, which I already blogged about, but that was just a little trim. This actually happened before Valentine's day, but I am behind! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cheyenne's long hair, but it just got so tangly and she would be overdramatic and scream and cry every time I brushed it. We took her to the Beauty school on our way to work out, which proved to not be the best idea. The girl took an entire HOUR just to cut her hair! Poor Cheyenne was so good, but she was having a hard time holding still at the end (understandably!). The girl was sweet and gave Cheyenne a little bracelet that she makes for the little kids hair she cuts. The girl did do a good job, but to be honest I don't really like the haircut. I asked for it layered, but it was my fault I wasn't specific enough. When Cheyenne's hair grew out, she had these really beautiful natural subtle layers. Well the girl who cut her hair totally went 90's Rachel from Friends 30 year old hair cut. The layers are way too chunky and the shortest layer was like to her ears! Its okay though, it will grow out and then I think I would like to just stick with one length. She, of course, still looks adorable, but some days I miss her long hair. Thankfully, the shorter hair doesn't get as tangly either and is pretty quick to brush out.
