St. Patrick's Day

I started off the morning of St. Patrick's Day with my green food coloring:
We had green pancakes, green scrambled eggs, green milk and watermelon in a green bowl.
Don't I look awesome with my bed head and no make-up, I was super pumped that Jeff wanted to capture this look, I had to cover my boobs (or current lack there-of) because I was still bra-less...
Outfits for the day:
Headed to the gym, Berkeley was finished with the pictures:
After breakfast, we headed to the gym. We drove separately so we could get the oil changed later. We stopped by a garage sale on the way to the gym and I got some clothes for Cheyenne and a little lower case letter work book. Then we went to the gym, but there was only an hour left in child care. Jeff and I did bench together, then I did a 35 minute tempo run at 7:30 pace (trying to get back into better cardiovascular shape). I almost ate it on the treadmill because my shoe came untied. Yesterday I almost ate it flying down the hill in our neighborhood pushing the girls in the blue double jogging stroller (Cheyenne calls it the Blue Devil jogging stroller... kinda sounds the same). I am glad I caught myself because the girls would of crashed and I would have eaten some serious pavement. I am also glad I caught myself at the gym because that also would have been a little humiliating. After my run, Jeff had already picked up the girls so I didn't have time to do any more arms and I was DRIPPING sweat. Bleh!

We went to get the oil changed next. We went to Crazy Rays and it was only $45 total for both of our cars and they include a free indoor and outdoor carwash. Um... best deal ever. I worked with Cheyenne on her new letter workbook inside while we were waiting, then we headed over to the windows to watch our cars go through the car wash machine. When they finished with our cars they were SO clean, I should have taken a picture.

Then we stopped by a friend in the ward's house to get a free bookshelf. Then we went to Burger King. We had a coupon for a B1g1 Whopper. We got two whoppers, two packs of nuggets for under 6 bucks. Then, since it was St. Patrick's Day, we got four free packs of fries with GREEN ketchup! It was awesome. The girls also got crowns and in true Berkeley fashion, it stayed on her head for about 3 seconds. We came home and the girls got some lime sherbet. I kept asking Cheyenne if she liked it and she would say, "It's green ice cream!" She never did say if she liked it or not, but she ate the whole bowl so I think she was a fan.
A girl from my team last year asked me to judge their "Mr. Irresistible" pageant which is like a male beauty pageant kind of. It was at Oconee Civic Center for Oconee High School. It was really fun, but really hard, because we had to pick out of 25 boys and there wasn't a talent or anything so we didn't really have any criteria to pick from. It was fun though. And I got this smart water, tons of cookies and a little gift bag for doing it:) I of course had to wear green, because it was on St. Paddy's day!
It was the best St. Patrick's Day yet. Holidays are so much more fun with kids!

P.S. FYI, I just added like 10 new blog posts today, this whole page is new, in case you are interested in catching up on us:)
