No more blogging for a while:(

I have lost another camera. I suck at not losing things. The worst part about it is that I didn't even realize it was lost until I hadn't seen it for almost two weeks, so I have no clue where it could be. I am guessing it just fell out of my bag somewhere, because I have checked every square inch of our house and car and in all my pockets and bags, etc. I am not so sad about the camera as I am about the pictures that were on it. My mom had just come to visit and we had a really great time and there were some priceless pictures of her and Cheyenne on there and it breaks my heart that they are gone, because Cheyenne doesn't get to see her much and I feel like Cheyenne really connected with her this trip:( I am so bummed out about those. I called the gym, the library, and anywhere else I can remember I went. The only other place I haven't checked is the lost and found at church. I really have a feeling that my camera is gone, but I have been praying so hard that I could find it and I am trying to keep my hopes alive that it is at church. It is weird though how I have lost so many things, and sometimes I know it is out there somewhere and I end up finding it, and then other times, I just get this feeling and I know it is gone forever. I had the same feeling when I lost my last camera in Tennessee last year, I just knew it was gone. So sad, but say a quick prayer for me right now that I will find it and get the pictures from it!! Thank you!

Playroom

I had been having the hardest time keeping Berkeley and Cheyenne's room clean, and Cheyenne's toddler bed we found on Craigslist turned out to be not so sturdy, so Cheyenne was barely ever sleeping in it anyway. We decided the best use of our space was to switch around the rooms. We put only beds, clothes and books in the girls' room and all the toys in the back room. I like the change so far. It has been a little bit of an adjustment as far as going down for naps, but at night the girls have been going down well. In other news, Cheyenne is wearing panties to bed!! Yay for money saving and no diapers!! I told her when she was three she would start wearing panties to bed instead of a diaper, because I thought it would at least take her that long, but she had kept her diaper dry for about a month so I decided to just try it. So far so good, we just need to make sure she goes potty before bed time and doesn't drink to much before bed time. It is really nice to be able to just throw any toys that are left out after bed time in the toy room. Also, the kids like to play in there together, I am starting to really enjoy their closeness in age!

Family Home Evening Chart

I have been wanting a family home evening chart since I was like 8 and my Aunt Mary Anne had one at her house. I had been eyeing this one on Etsy for about a year now. Jeff's mom and dad were so sweet to get it for me for my birthday! I am so excited and I love it! It looks so cute in our house and it is so nice to keep track of who does what. Cheyenne asks every night if it is family night. Last week my mom was here and so she helped her teach the lesson about Daniel and the Lion's Den and it was the cutest thing ever. She was also conducting so she welcomed everyone to family night. So sweet and funny. We have the best Monday routine ever. Jeff doesn't have school on Mondays, but he still has football. He gets home anywhere from 1 to 3 ish. I put the girls down for a nap around noon. Then when they wake up, Jeff is home and we go to the gym, then we go out to eat (usually Moe's because kids eat free on Mondays, but we are planning to try Your Pie because kids eat free on Mondays there too, or there is always Cici's or Stevie-B's Pizza Buffet). Then, after we eat, we go home and have family night and then put the girls to bed! Mondays are now our favorite day of the week (well, Jeff's is probably still Saturday with college football, but the girls and I love mondays). Hopefully we will continue this tradition throughout our lives!

Happy Belated Birthday to Jeff

I never did blog about Jeff's birthday, which would be okay to skip blogging about, except it was the big 3-0!!! To me that seems really old, but apparently it is not... haha:) I really wanted to do something so cool for his birthday this year, but it is so hard because it is during football season when he has no time off and also he isn't really big on celebrations. I started off the day getting him a new blender (our previous one broke falling out of the cupboard), this one is way better. I made him his favorite protein breakfast shake... the chocolate monkey! He made it up and it is so delicious! It is basically banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, milk and ice... but it tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Anyway, then Jeff left for work. I got the girls up and ready and we went to Elberton around 9:45. We took Jeff to lunch at Zaxbys and spent his planning period with him. It was really fun and nice for Jeff to get out of the school building. When Jeff got home from football, I made him one of his favorite meals, spaghetti, salad and texas toast. Then I made him the above pictured delicious ice cream cake!! Cheyenne loved singing to him and telling him to make a wish! I hope he had a good birthday, I love him so much and am so grateful he was born!!
