Happy Birthday Jeffers!

Exactly ten days ago, Monday, August 17, Jeff turned 28! Can you believe it??? I can't, I still feel like I am 20:) Jeff is just the best husband in the world! He works so hard, and barely ever gets to be home to relax with us, but he loves his job and is very good at what he does. I tried so hard to think of something that would be good to make his birthday special, because he is always like, "oh its just another day," but then he does so much for me on my birthday. Anyway, so I woke up early and made him an omlette and pancakes, and he just ate the pancakes so I got to eat the omlette when he left:) Then I saw this idea on my cousins Afton and Stephen's blog to have a sign for the baby to hold up, but Cheyenne wouldn't hold it. When she finally did hold it, she ate big chunks out of it, so it didn't turn out the way I planned. Anyway, we drove to Jeff's school to surprise him and brought his class cupcakes:) It was fun, and plus it gave us an excuse to spend more time with him.

Oh... and I painted Cheyenne's toenails for the first time... I had to do it while she was asleep in the swing, and I have this fast dry stuff I sprayed on it. It looks so cute!

Happy Birthday Jeffy pie! We LOVE you!!

Oh and we also went to Outback to celebrate- Thanks Grandma + Grandpa Bennum!

Our Testimony

Jeff and I are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we wanted to share how grateful we are for that blessing. We believe the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God and we learn so much as we read from them. We know that families can be together forever, even after death, if we choose to make that covenant with God in his holy temple. We believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and was led by God to restore the truth on the earth. He went through so much persecution and dedicated his life so that we could have the Gospel of Christ today. We also believe President Monson to be our prophet today, we believe he communicates with God and leads us to live good lives so we can return to live with our father in heaven once again. The more we pray, read the scriptures, and learn about the gospel, the more we feel the holy spirit in our lives. As we do these things we can see our lives and our marriage being blessed and our happiness increased. We know we have made so many mistakes in each of our lives respectively and we are so amazed that our savior Jesus Christ can help us to be forgiven for those things. We love the joy and happiness that the gospel of christ brings us everyday. Jeff even dedicated two years of his life to sharing that truth because he believes in it so much and wanted to bring other people that happiness. I am so thankful that he made that sacrifice because I can see the blessings that came from it. We are not posting this to try to force our views on anyone, we just wanted to let everyone know how thankful we are for the Lord's blessings and for his guidance in our lives. We have also been so blessed with amazing family and friends to give us support and love along our way. Thank you being there for us and thank you for letting us share our love of Christ and our testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
