28 weeks Pregnant

Okay so I am positive that everyone jinxed me!!! Everyone said I was so little and tiny, well no more!! Last month I gained 8 pounds- in one month!!!! I thought okay it was just a fluke... nope the record continues.  I just got back from the Doctor and once again I packed on another 8 pounds in just 4 weeks.  Now I weigh 165.  165 lbs!! That sort of made me sick to see that on the scale!  So I have gained approximately 20 to 25 lbs already.  I don't really care though, it just gives me more motivation to do my goal, which is to run a marathon or half marathon between every child I have.  I am shopping for a jogging stroller right now so I can get started asap.  Anyway, so here are my fat pictures... hope you all enjoy and I hope they make you feel good about your skinny little selves!!!  Hahaha, I am really joking though, I don't really care how big I get just as long as my baby is healthy:)  I am also excited because my brother Jared and his wife Rachel are having a baby any day now, my baby will be born in November, my step-sister, Lynsey, is due in December, My brother Brian and his wife Dana are due in January, and my sister Heather,  just found out she will be having a baby in May!! So our baby will have lots of cousins her age to play with.

You may have gained 20 pounds or so, but you don't look fat! It's hard to believe while you're pregnant (and it will get harder to believe), but to everyone else, pregnant tummies are CUTE!

stacey you honestly do not look like you have gained that much! Your hair looks really good in that picture too! I went to the doctor yesterday and sadly found out that I had gained 7 pounds in the last 5 weeks!!! It makes me so sad seeing that number go up, but baby Carter checked out perfectly at our ultrasound on Wednesday so I really don't care too much.

Believe it or not, you look great! And just so you're not alone, I wanted to let you know that I gained 5 lbs in 6 days at one point, 10 lbs one month, and 9 lbs the next. haha. I've now gained 42 lbs total. Scary! I was just telling Dave I can't believe you are still running. No way no how for me!

You look great Stacey. I love seeing pregnant pictures, I think they are so cute! And don't worry about gaining weight. The way I see it, you gain what you need to, and I am sure that it will come off right as soon as the baby is born! I never knew how much I gained per month. I had nice nurses that never told me! And a doctor that said that it doesn't matter how much weight you gain. Thank goodness for them or I think I would have been depressed my whole pregnancy =)

Stacey! You look amazing! Don't worry about the numbers on the scale. Like emily said, your body will gain what it needs to to sustain the pregnancy!

Don't worry about what other people say. You are "showing" more at 28 weeks than I did . . .I still looked at the awkward stage of people wondering if I really was prego. I looked small too, but my baby came out healthy. And make sure you take it easy for about a month or two after the delivery because your body had to work itself back from being prego for 9 months and a lot of things need to get back into their places (and who knows what the delivery will bring), but I'm sure you know that. (It took me about 3 months before I could run or figure skate again). Good luck, you're doing great!

Thats about how much i've gained too...so its probably normal! We just have to remember that these pounds we put on are for a great cause! :) P.S. I think you look really good!

To me you, still look tiny. Regardless you make an adorable pregnant mama, one of those girls who doesn't get any bigger anywhere except her belly...and will probably go back to a flat stomach within a week! I hate those girls! :)

Hey Stacey, I am working on the half marathon right now too - what is worrisome is making sure that I have enough milk and enough time to get those runs in. I LOVE my Bob Revolution. I highly recommend it. Whatever you do, just get one with a swivel front wheel and enough shade for the baby.

You look great Stacey! So cute... finally you have a little belly. You'll have no trouble doing a half marathon after having Cheyenne, but like Bethany said, give your body time. I am so excited for you! Check out http://www.joggingstroller.com/. My second-hand jogging stroller has been great, now I'm looking for a double.

Stacey, you look great! And I'm sure you'll lose the weight quickly once the baby is born! We are so excited for you guys! And that is so great that there will be so many cousins so close together! I wish my kids had that.
