Little Pumpkin Baby Shower

Some good friends in my ward threw me a baby shower last night. It was so much fun! I am so mad because I totally forgot my camera and then luckily my friend Wendi had hers, but we forgot to take any pictures during the shower and I didn't even get a picture with Robyn, Beth and Wendi, who threw me the shower! Oh well, it was so much fun, the decorations were adorable, and the food was delicious. I got so many adorable gifts and lots of wipes (which was awesome because I hate buying them!). I am mostly excited because I got a baby book for the new baby and I have been meaning to buy one, but haven't yet, so I spent an hour today filling it all in with the information that has already happened. I was so excited to get a baby shower, because it is my second girl, so I didn't think I would get one. Plus, there are like 20 people a year that have babies in our ward, so it was so nice of people to come! That is one thing I love about the church is that you have automatic friends no matter where you go!

In a perfect world I would go into labor naturally and have the baby on October 30... then it would be after Jeff's football game and my mom and sister would be here, she would have a birthday before Halloween (which I think would be much more fun than a couple days after), and I wouldn't have to be induced!

More than anything I hope she is healthy!!

Our Testimony

Jeff and I are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we wanted to share how grateful we are for that blessing. We believe the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God and we learn so much as we read from them. We know that families can be together forever, even after death, if we choose to make that covenant with God in his holy temple. We believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and was led by God to restore the truth on the earth. He went through so much persecution and dedicated his life so that we could have the Gospel of Christ today. We also believe President Monson to be our prophet today, we believe he communicates with God and leads us to live good lives so we can return to live with our father in heaven once again. The more we pray, read the scriptures, and learn about the gospel, the more we feel the holy spirit in our lives. As we do these things we can see our lives and our marriage being blessed and our happiness increased. We know we have made so many mistakes in each of our lives respectively and we are so amazed that our savior Jesus Christ can help us to be forgiven for those things. We love the joy and happiness that the gospel of christ brings us everyday. Jeff even dedicated two years of his life to sharing that truth because he believes in it so much and wanted to bring other people that happiness. I am so thankful that he made that sacrifice because I can see the blessings that came from it. We are not posting this to try to force our views on anyone, we just wanted to let everyone know how thankful we are for the Lord's blessings and for his guidance in our lives. We have also been so blessed with amazing family and friends to give us support and love along our way. Thank you being there for us and thank you for letting us share our love of Christ and our testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
