In Memory of Vandy Baldwin

Isn't this tiny little angel so adorable??? My best friend Natalie and her husband Carlos were scheduled to have her in April. I think Vandy and Cheyenne must have been best friends in heaven too because she wanted to come out early. She was born at 24 weeks on December 30th. She was so tiny, 1 lb 10 oz. Unfortunately she only lived for 8 days, but what an amazing blessing it will be for Natalie and Carlos to be reunited with her in heaven. She is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen, I couldn't believe how sweet and pretty she is. I wish I could have seen her in real life. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers, I am sure this is such a big trial for them and they will be blessed as they make it through.

Our Testimony

Jeff and I are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we wanted to share how grateful we are for that blessing. We believe the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God and we learn so much as we read from them. We know that families can be together forever, even after death, if we choose to make that covenant with God in his holy temple. We believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and was led by God to restore the truth on the earth. He went through so much persecution and dedicated his life so that we could have the Gospel of Christ today. We also believe President Monson to be our prophet today, we believe he communicates with God and leads us to live good lives so we can return to live with our father in heaven once again. The more we pray, read the scriptures, and learn about the gospel, the more we feel the holy spirit in our lives. As we do these things we can see our lives and our marriage being blessed and our happiness increased. We know we have made so many mistakes in each of our lives respectively and we are so amazed that our savior Jesus Christ can help us to be forgiven for those things. We love the joy and happiness that the gospel of christ brings us everyday. Jeff even dedicated two years of his life to sharing that truth because he believes in it so much and wanted to bring other people that happiness. I am so thankful that he made that sacrifice because I can see the blessings that came from it. We are not posting this to try to force our views on anyone, we just wanted to let everyone know how thankful we are for the Lord's blessings and for his guidance in our lives. We have also been so blessed with amazing family and friends to give us support and love along our way. Thank you being there for us and thank you for letting us share our love of Christ and our testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
